Gas Line Installation & Repair

Licensed gas work for homes and businesses. New lines, leak repairs, appliance hookups. 24/7 emergency for gas leaks.

Gas Line Work by Licensed Professionals

Gas line work is not something you hand to the lowest bidder. A bad connection can cause a carbon monoxide leak or worse. Our technicians are licensed for gas work and carry the training and insurance to do it safely.

We install new gas lines for furnaces, boilers, water heaters, stoves, dryers, fireplaces, and outdoor grills. Converting from oil to gas heat? The gas line is part of the project and we handle it alongside the furnace or boiler installation.

Smell gas? Call (508) 501-7424 immediately. Gas leaks are emergencies we respond to 24/7. Get out of the building first, then call.

What Does Gas Line Work Cost?

New gas line runs cost $500 to $2,500. Distance is one factor. Pipe sizing, wall and floor penetrations, and whether the run crosses finished space matter just as much.

Appliance hookups run $200 to $600. Stoves, dryers, and grills sit at the low end. Generators and pool heaters need larger lines and cost more.

Gas leak repairs are quoted on site after we find the leak. Never a flat rate sight unseen, because a loose fitting at the meter and a corroded line under a slab are different jobs.

Oil-to-gas conversions are priced as part of the heating equipment project. See our furnace and boiler pages for those numbers.

Why Homeowners Choose Triangle for Gas Line Work

In-House Electricians

Most HVAC installers sub out the panel work. That means two companies, two schedules, two invoices. Our own electricians handle the panel work. One company, one invoice.

Mass Save Participating Contractor

We know which systems qualify, what documentation the program requires, and where homeowners usually lose money by picking the wrong equipment tier. We confirm your eligibility before you spend a dollar.

55 Years. Not a Startup.

Rebate money brought a lot of new companies into this market. Triangle has been at 425 Pleasant Street in Fall River since 1970. When your compressor needs warranty service in 2030, we will still be here.

Four Trades, One Company

Getting a mini split and notice the water heater looks rough? Want a generator quote while we are there? Heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration. One call, one truck, one bill.

What Our Customers Say

How much does gas line installation cost?

$500 to $2,500 depending on distance and complexity. Appliance hookups less. Everything quoted upfront.

If natural gas is available, yes. Full conversion: gas line and heating equipment. See our furnace and boiler pages for equipment pricing.

Leave the building immediately. Do not flip switches or use your phone inside. Call your gas company and then call (508) 501-7424 from outside. We respond to gas emergencies 24/7.

Most residential runs are done in one day. Longer runs or lines crossing a finished basement can take two. Pressure testing and inspection happen before the appliance connects, and we coordinate the utility and inspector schedule whether the job is in Fall River or Barrington.

Yes. Grills, fire pits, pool heaters, and standby generators are all common runs. We size the line for the appliance’s BTU demand, which matters more than distance. An undersized line starves a generator under load. Call (508) 501-7424 for a quote.

Every job. Gas work in Massachusetts and Rhode Island requires permits and inspection, and unpermitted work can void insurance and stall a home sale. We file, schedule the inspection, and close the permit. Homeowners in Swansea and Westport never touch the paperwork.
