What Does a Boiler Cost in SE MA / RI?
Gas boiler installation runs $7,500 to $15,000. Size drives most of that. A compact hot water boiler for a Somerset ranch sits at the low end. Steam systems and high-efficiency condensing units with new venting cost more.
We convert oil boilers to gas. The conversion is priced as one project, the new gas boiler plus the gas line work.
Steam costs more than hot water to replace. The piping is less forgiving, and older homes in Fall River and New Bedford often need extra work at the radiators and returns before the new boiler goes in.
