What Does a Mini Split Cost in Southeastern MA / RI?
Pricing depends on your home and goals. Here are typical ranges for 2026:
Single-zone system for one room: $6,000 to $10,000 installed. Covers additions, sunrooms, converted garages. Equipment, labor, and electrical hookup included.
Multi-zone system with 2 to 4 indoor units: $10,000 to $25,000. This is the setup for whole-house coverage or replacing an aging furnace. One outdoor compressor feeds all indoor heads.
Panel upgrade (if needed): $1,000 to $3,500. Older homes in Fall River, Swansea, New Bedford, and northern Rhode Island often still have 100-amp service. Our electricians handle the upgrade during installation. No separate company, no extra wait.

Can a mini split heat my home in a Massachusetts / Rhode Island winter?
Yes. The Mitsubishi, Daikin, and Lennox units we install are cold-climate rated. Thousands of homes in this area run on nothing else. The key is proper sizing.
Do I need an electrical panel upgrade for a mini split?
