HVAC/R Service Technician

Triangle Mechanical Services is looking for a licensed HVAC/R service technician to join our team. We handle heating, cooling, and refrigeration service calls for residential, commercial, and industrial customers across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

This is a company truck position. You run your own schedule with the service manager, respond to calls across our service area, and handle diagnosis through completion on most jobs without supervision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment on residential, commercial, and industrial systems
• Travel to job sites across our SE MA and RI service area in a company truck
• Coordinate with the service manager to maintain your schedule and communicate delays
• Rotate for nights and weekends to cover 24/7 emergency service calls
• Maintain your company vehicle in good working order, including refueling and cleanliness (random inspections apply)
• Keep proper stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment on the truck
• Generate customer invoices on site and obtain signatures at job completion
• Document all equipment serviced: make, model, and serial numbers
• Participate in company-provided training on new technology and systems

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• EPA 608 certification (required)
• MA and/or RI refrigeration licenses (preferred, not required)
• Experience diagnosing and repairing commercial and residential HVAC/R systems
• Own hand tools (company provides truck, power tools, and specialty equipment)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Dependable, self-motivated, strong customer communication skills
• Willing to work rotating nights and weekends for emergency coverage
