Can outdoor lighting run from my phone?

Is low-voltage lighting safe around kids and pets?
It is. Low-voltage systems run at 12 or 15 volts through a transformer, which is why they’re the standard for landscape work. Line-voltage fixtures, like flood lights, are installed in weatherproof enclosures with GFCI protection. Both are wired to code by licensed electricians.
What about lighting near the coast?
