Ductwork Made in Our Shop, Not Ordered From a Warehouse

Most contractors order ductwork from a wholesaler and wait days for it to show up. We don’t. Triangle fabricates custom sheet metal in our own Fall River shop, so a duct run that actually fits your house gets made the same week. On a retrofit or an addition, where nothing is a standard size, that’s the difference between a clean job and a box of off-the-shelf fittings forced to work.

Ventilation is the part people forget until the air feels off. A tight, well-insulated house holds heat. It also holds moisture, cooking smells, and whatever else gets kicked up inside. Good ventilation moves that out. We handle bath and kitchen exhaust, fresh-air intakes, and ERV systems that swap stale inside air for fresh outside air without dumping the heat you already paid for.

Old duct is its own problem. Homes around Fall River, Swansea, and New Bedford often have runs that are undersized, leaking at every joint, or sealed with tape that gave up years ago. Leaky duct means you’re heating the attic. We repair what’s worth saving and fabricate new runs for the rest.

What Does Ductwork or Ventilation Cost in SE MA / RI?

Pricing depends on the scope. Here are typical 2026 ranges:

Duct repair and sealing: $400 to $1,500 for most homes, depending on how many runs need work and how accessible they are.

New or replacement duct runs: $1,500 to $6,000 for a custom-fabricated system, depending on the size of the home and the layout. Made to fit, not forced from stock fittings.

ERV / fresh-air ventilation system: $2,000 to $4,500 installed, depending on the unit and how it ties into your existing system.

Rebates & Incentives (2026)

Rebate amounts depend on system type, efficiency rating, and whether you’re replacing fossil fuel equipment. Massachusetts projects fall under Mass Save. Rhode Island projects fall under RI Energy and Clean Heat RI, available through December 31, 2026. We confirm your eligibility.

Why Choose Triangle

In-House Electricians

Most HVAC installers sub out the panel work. That means two companies, two schedules, two invoices. Our own electricians handle the panel work. One company, one invoice.

Mass Save Participating Contractor

We know which systems qualify, what documentation the program requires, and where homeowners usually lose money by picking the wrong equipment tier. We confirm your eligibility before you spend a dollar.

55 Years. Not a Startup.

Rebate money brought a lot of new companies into this market. Triangle has been at 425 Pleasant Street in Fall River since 1970. When your compressor needs warranty service in 2030, we will still be here.

Four Trades, One Company

Getting a mini split and notice the water heater looks rough? Want a generator quote while we are there? Heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration. One call, one truck, one bill.

What Our Customers Say

Does Triangle make its own ductwork?

Yes. We fabricate custom sheet metal duct in our Fall River shop, which most contractors can’t do in-house. A run sized for your home gets made the same week instead of ordered from a wholesaler and delayed. It’s a real advantage on older homes and additions where nothing is a standard size. Call (508) 501-7424 to talk through a project.

Common signs: rooms that never reach temperature, dust that comes back fast, and heating bills creeping up for no clear reason. A lot of older homes in Fall River and Swansea have duct sealed with tape that failed years ago. We check airflow and joints during the on-site evaluation and show you where the leaks are.

It can. A heat-recovery ventilator pulls fresh air in while capturing the heat from the air it pushes out, so you’re not paying to reheat the house every time it ventilates. Pair that with sealed, properly sized duct and you stop leaking conditioned air into the attic. Most older homes in southeastern Massachusetts leak more than the owners realize.

Yes, and it’s a lot of what we do. Homes around Fall River, Swansea, and New Bedford often have duct that’s undersized, leaky, or held together with failing tape. We repair what’s worth saving and fabricate new runs for the rest, custom-made in our shop to fit the space. One crew handles the whole job.

Yes. We do bath and kitchen exhaust, make-up air, and full ventilation systems for commercial buildings across SE Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Because we run four trades, the ductwork, the electrical, and any rooftop equipment can all come from one company. Call (508) 501-7424.

It depends on scope. A duct repair or a single ventilation unit is often a one-day job. A full custom duct system for a home runs two to three days, including fabrication and sealing. We give you a full timeline before any work starts.
